Grow baby, grow!
Back in August, I decided to change up my 'do a little. It was either between keeping it long and adding bangs or chopping it a la Victoria Beckham. I went for Ms. Beckham's chic 'do and the hair stylist took off a whopping 12 inches. 12 inches people! Not to brag, but I have great hair. Every single time I get it done, I have at least 2 stylists commenting on my hair. So what possessed me to get rid of it all???
When I had it first done in August, it was more symmetrical than I had wanted so 2 months later, I had her angle it more...which is when my problems started. Angled hair does not like to stay in a rubber band. Pulling my hair back required numerous clips and pins and yelling on my part.
With my wedding a little less than 8 months away, I'm doing everything I can to get my hair back to its original glory. That is, long enough to have a smokin' hot wedding-day 'do. Now my hair does grow pretty fast. It grows about an inch a month but I swear it is taking its sweet time! While lamenting to a bridal salon employee about my short hair, she started talking about this supplement you can take to speed up your hair growth. Cue alertness. She knew the brand but not the exact name. So off I went to Sephora in search of these magical pills.
Low and behold, there they were...Phyto's Phytophanere. Now this is Sephora so of course they're not cheap. $50 for a 2-month supply. But I figure that it will be $50 well spent if it will get my hair back to long and luscious pronto!
