Come on fashion!
I like to consider myself a somewhat fashionable person. I don't really follow any particular trend, mainly shopping for what I know looks good on me and I will not drop to a level of wearing things I detest. Case in point: ankle booties with peep-toes. 
Seriously? I know that these are really "in" and all but I think they look borderline retarded. I like the ankle bootie with toes look; I even own a pair which look pretty cool with tights and a skirt. They can really make your festive holiday garb a little more polished. But when you have Polished Patsy in ankle booties with her piggies hanging out in the winter breeze, I immediately lose focus of the good parts of the outfit. They remind me of what some poor, homeless person would be sporting. Just my opinion...
