Hello sweet bargain!
Many of you may know that I am a bit of a shoe fanatic. Yes, I've been known to outwardly gasp, ooo and aahhh over shoes that I think are amazing. For the most part, I keep this fanaticism under control; especially since most of the shoes I make noise over are waaayyy beyond my budget and buying a pair of shoes that equals my monthly rent is ridiculous. The percentage of ladies who can afford these shoes is small; although these are usually the same ladies who eat next to nothing and think nothing of spending their monthly food budget on a sweet pair of slingbacks. This would never work for me because I love food and as sweet as shoes are, they don't fill the tummy. This being said, I'm also the first to admit that I am a proud supporter and fan of knock offs. Without knock offs, the remaining percentage of normal girls would just continue to drool over these artsy kicks and sigh because we will never have these things grace our tootsies.
I recently sold some things on ebay and was checking to see if my buyers had left feedback, when I saw these bee-you-tee-ful shoes on ebay's homepage. They look just like the Yves Saint Laurent Tribute shoe which I think is a seriously sexy shoe. Yes, I think you can describe a shoe as sexy. I click on the link and this shoe is only $20! Are you serious?!?!?! There's a real pair of YSL's on ebay currently selling for $850. Okay, so it's not the same shoe and there are some slight differences but honestly, who is gonna know! I myself don't frequent Rodeo Drive so I know that I could walk down the street without some Botox beauty calling me out for buying a fake. Here's pictures of both. I'll be the first to admit I'd snatch up the beauties on the left and proudly strut them around...and save about $830 in the process.
